Next-generation information and communications technology (ICT) and organisation systems will play a key role in improving TDL industry performance, lifting productivity and enhancing customer service.

The Victorian Supply Chain Excellence Action Plan recognises that the TDL industry must streamline the processing of business transactions to reduce costs, improve turn around times and improve the quality of data. This can be achieved through more efficient business systems that make use of best practice infrastructure, appropriate automation and which support global standards.
